who knows yet what exactly they did to the rs, but the volvo isnt there yet..... at any rate the focus RS will have be have better power and handling stock than the c30, hopefully the rs is cheaper stateside too...

back on topic: I FING LOVE THE SHO!! Ever since the early ones. only have ridden in 1 :( not driven :( this looks geared to the older ford sho crowd so we'll see but a TT v6...NICE

so you want me to ship over a $51k car with the same engine and turbo as the one i bought, when i could pay $3k in aftermarket parts for the c30 and get more power than the rs?

to me the RS looks like a Hot Wheels.
no thanks, ill pass

P.S. how the hell did my car get thrown in this conversation?
People were talking about good Ford cars.

On the RS, I was only teasing you a little. It was moreso the idea of going to Europe and bringing back a car you can't get here(the RS), rather than one you can get here(the C30).

Either way a new car and a trip to Europe is awesome. Just messing with you Ivan. ;)

idk dude, my volvo came close to that and the RS has a extra 73 hp
you dont pay for a car by hp though ;) in theory volvo is more expensive because of its name, safety, and features. the ford is the cheapest end model's in the "world" of ford cars, so since this RS is fairly featureless and says ford, it should be cheaper, imo. But the sti is more money than all the other subies...so we shall see when they announce it.

Just think about it. What is the competition? If its in the 30's it will compete against the NEW ms3 which should be in the $25k range and the 265hp wrx. Are buyers going to pay $5,000 MORE for a fwd Ford with 300hp? YIKES! If it was mid 30's that would be a full 10k more! and compete with the evoX. Double YIKES!

(think about the caliber SRT4, 285hp and how many do you see on the road? You can probly grab one of those for around $20k flat.)

It's pointless to compare prices on a car that won't be released in the states, since it will be priced in euros, and the best you can do is a currency conversion--that's NOT how companies price their products in different countries. For a true comparison, you would have to find the dealer price of a c30 being sold in europe, and compare that to a Focus RS being sold in the same country.

Back to the Taurus SHO....
