Had a really nice black 350z pass me in the non-plowed slow lane in maple grove. not even a quarter mile up, I see headlights spinning around and stopping in the ditch. Poor car, not poor dude though. I mean seriously... Who drives a nice 350z in the winter in MN?? Duh....

None recently, but a few years back was driving through EP on hwy 212, and some guy in a small SUV was tailgating the hell out of me (right lane had some cleared tracks, left lane was pretty snowy still). After a few minutes he goes flying past me just before the road curves, loses it trying to get back into the right lane, spun twice and slapped a light pole with his front quarter. I stopped to make sure he was okay, but he just ignored me while swearing up a storm and picking up pieces of his car.

If you're gonna pass someone in sketchy weather, fine... just don't be dumb about it.

I have nothing from this morning but a similar story to Jays. Last winter was heading south down 494 in the left lane during a storm, was a Saturday I think, and all 3 lanes were saturated with cars but traffic was still moving 30-40mph. Had a old Saturn LS1 start tail gating me (nothing that would bother me but to close for the weather). Traffic in front of me starts braking so I very lightly tap the brake, not even enough to slow down at all, and instantly the Saturn begins fish tailing then slams head on into the center median. Some people have to learn the hard way about how stupid it is to drive with bald tires in a MN winter.

Back in my senior year when I had my neon, I got overtaken by a 3000gt (not vr4) in the snow on the way to school. He gave me this "I'm hot shit" look as he passed. Pretty much every person that drove what they thought was a cool car was a complete tool bag. But about a mile up the road he was in someones yard spinning his wheels with a mailbox on his hood. I drove past him and was tempted to give him the bird but held back.

Hmmm...on my drive to work today, nothing....on my drive to Rochester while working...I saw a couple...nothing exciting, but one was quite far off the side of the road...and it was a straight stretch of road...a little puzzling to me how they got that far off...not to mention 52 really wasn't too bad...they had it cleaned up pretty quickly.

I may or may not have used the gas and e-brake more tonight than in the last year combined to do controlled drift-o-machine-o slides, ending with a perfect slide and gun right into my driveway.

I remember when I first got my license...first winter I had it...I was coming towards Foley on Egret...get over the bridge that goes over 10...I was braking as I came over the bridge and around the turn....mistake...spun my moms car into oncoming traffic...luckily the truck that was coming at me was at least a block or two away so I had time to get back to my side of the road...I learned quickly how to drive in the winter due to that. That was in a 91 Dodge Spirit.

A year ago I was driving in a Ford Taurus on this paved country road to my girlfriends house. I was coming around a bend I happened to looked down at my radio looked back up I was being pulled into the ditch by the gravel on the side of the road. My dumb ass over corrects in as result my car shoots across the road and rolls 4 times down a hill. The car is like a tank saved my life for sure! View attachment 1653View attachment 1654
