Nate is the detail master - Speed6 Guy - so we've had meets where he shows people the ropes on how to use a buffer and stuff like that. I missed the one at the beginning of the Summer, but maybe well get one planned before Winter again to wax 'em up before the salt attacks...lol

Yeah I'd reccomend checking out the next detail day. You'll learn a lot (I sure did). Instead of the wheel eraser next time you have something on your paint check out a claybar, you use some detail spray (or a soap+water mix) to wet the paint down, then go over it with the bar, it'll pickup all the junk out of your paint without damaging it, then you wash and wax.

So I have one black, and one white side mirror.
The driver side got knocked off by yours truly last fall and I got it replaced for cheap off of eBay.
It came just all black, so I was wondering if I should have em both black, or both white.
That's also an easy way you can tell if you have seen me!

Hey another question for whoever can answer...
I'm thinking, if it's at all possible, that simply shortening the shift rod thinger instead of buying a new kit might be easier. I will most likely have to re-thread the thing...what would be easier? I mean it's not like I can do any of this on my own either so that kinda makes it hard. Me = no tools etc.

From a total amount of work standpoint, they would be about the same. Cutting the shift rod would be cheaper, but far more ghetto. Most short-shift kits are actually engineered to change the shifter pivot point, rather than just shorten the lever. In doing so, they can actually shorten the throw more than if you were to simply shorten the lever.
