There were 3 top downers. GTA- and then the spinoff expansion GTA London, and then GTA 2.
San Andreas was an epic game for many reasons weather you could relate to the storyline or not. It added rpg elements more like the muscle and fat that would be added to the charicter depending on if he worked out or ate alot of food. It had the biggest variety of cars to choose from and the largest map wich some people found daunting but I started to enjoy the large map size the more I got into the game. And then it added the gameplay element of taking over territory and keeping it by fighting off gangs of enemies. I would recommend you check it out but now IV is coming out so make way for the new one.
Agreed. While I liked the "theme" of Vice City better than the hood feel of San Andreas, the overall gameplay of SA dominated. I really dont get what was not to like about SA if you enjoyed GTA3?

Interesting. This would be the first game on both platforms where PS3 actually gets the nod. Most reviewers prefer Xbox on the previous multi-platform games. I can say that AJ's Call of Duty 4 looked better on his lower end TV in his game room than my PS3 version on a higher end Panasonic.
Yeah, I am familiar with it and think its a pretty cool concept. Not too mention its actually being used for a good cause. And I agree that the PS3 has more computing power, thats been proven. But, the majority of the games on the market right now have not taken full advantage of that power. Hence the reason that most game reviewers said the graphics on Xbox were superior to the PS3.
