I ate at Jakes City Grille right next to BWW over the weekend and they have a hella nice bar in there. We could just do a MNMazda eagan bar crawl every Wednesday night? Then we would really be rotating locations.... lol

Winter time now. We take one car for 2 people to these meets. And Erik doesn't normally drink, so lucky me :D

Surprisingly, it's possible to enjoy a beer or two over the course of 2-3 hours and dinner and not be drunk when it's time to leave...

This would be even more true if the meet started at 3:30 as opposed to 5:30... then its more like 4-5 hours.

Just teasing everyone a little bit.

But seriously though, I've had a few friends think they were fine (i.e. not drunk) and pay the price. So I'm just hoping everyone keeps that in mind and drives safe and sober.

I'm drunk after one beer sadly.... :p

But I do make a rule that if I'm driving a manual (car/motorcycle) I don't drink. I like that extra concentration when more limbs are needed :p

True! Just sad, cause we get beer served here on Fridays for free, but I cant drink any cause then I would never be able to make it home :p

Never understood the point of bar hopping... I've always preferred to go to one place and hang out. I can understand changing bars if the place is dead, the music sucks, the crowd aren't people you care to hang with... but if you're somewhere having fun... I'd rather just stay than go.

If you guys want happy hours and shit, I'm gonna put a vote in for Acapulco again. 34oz Dos Equis all day for $4, and free chips and salsa that tend to be good.

And for the record, I'm not against rotating locations in general. I'm just against having a meet in the south metro one week, and one in the north metro the next, etc.

Alright folks, lets figgur this out.

South metro meet, eaganish area. I'm in for meeting up earlier at someplace with a bar if others are... otherwise the usual 5:30ish - 9 is fine for me.

I don't go over that way much, so I'm not much help in finding a place.

I would put my vote in for anywhere with happy hour specials, does chili's have free chips still? There is one of those in Eagan and they have 2 for 1's (I think), Ill try and figure out if anywhere else has specials.
