I decided on money over drive time about a year ago

So I get off between 5-6 pm then have a 45min - 1 hr drive home. Then have to drive to the meeting place. Normally equal about 7 no matter where we go

So, let's get this nailed down earlier this time. Working outta northfield now, so almost anywhere in the south half of the city is on my way home, haha.

I'd still lean towards a place that has beer and/or apps on happy hour specials, but I don't know the south metro well...

The Nook is the place Tom suggested. I say we try that place out.

Nook is awesome.... but it is tiny. It only seats 57 and they do not take reservations. Odds are we would have to sit separately (which is no biggie for me).

Side note - The Shamrock, is a mile away for The Nook, has the same menu, a grip of seating and can accommodate reservations and large parties.

Yeah, the nook is kinda fail for any kind of largish group. If that's what people want, I'd say do the Shamrock instead. Although, the one time I was there, I had to park several blocks away. Not sure how the parking situation is at that time on a weekday evening though.
