Unfortunately, I can't stand Obama either. There is something seriously wrong with a person whose answer to every problem is the copious application of taxpayer money.

Thanks to D7 for keeping the focus on the individuals rather than the "troops" we hear about so much. It IS insulting to think that someone can sit back totally uninvolved and spout off about how the majority who serve are maniacal torture fiends, when in reality 90% or more of the members of all branches of the armed services aren't anywhere near combat or POWs. There are thousands and thousands of soldiers serving in support roles rather than doing any sort of actual fighting, so let's try to avoid making anymore broad generalizations about what soldiers are like.

Agreed. The last thing we need to do is slant our system even more in favor of people shooting out kids like a PEZ dispenser.

Yea, I too once had many an issue with our government, hated it in fact. Then I took a trip to Mexico, and now I thank god for what we have. You won't find better or more opportunities to succeed at what every you want, any where else in the world.
You can complain all you want about our government, but in the end it's just hot air. If people feel so strong, then they should get involved and do what they can to change the system; in the end, that's what matters.

I fully realize that we do have it easy in America and I am very gratefull for that. I am not trying to write off our whole government just trying to point out somethings that people should recognize as pretty major flaws and atleast be aware of.
As for the five thousand dollar thing, it is totaly encouraging people to pump out the babies. And even if the government wanted to give 5grand to each person born why give it right when they are born why not after they graduate high school? The only thing I can see as reasoning behind this is maybe she is trying to get some of the black vote by doing something sort of like "reperations". Because I know that alot of people in the black community are dead set on getting reperations money.

"The Sergeant Major called me in today and it looks like they found out about the dog thing. I don't know who it was who put it on %#&!*% youtube, but man they are not happy... They were even talking about court martialing me, but they better not. It wouldn't be fair because they didn't court martial the last guy they caught %#&!*% with a dog.
%#&!*%, atleast i was humane about it. That guy from motor transport shot a dog in the stomach in front of the Major and everyone thought it was funny. I %#&!*% up and it gets on TV and all of a sudden it's wrong. This is some BS. POS media, always sticking its nose where it doesn't belong.
want to say first of all that I am really sorry for the whole puppy thing. I don't know why people are so pissed. It was a %#&!*% STRAY!!! Get the %#&!*% over it! You know how many people I see get blown away on a regular basis?!?! %#&!*% Man Not only the towle heads out here but my own friends!" Sorry you guys saw that, but it wasn't supposed to ever been shown. Usually what happens is we shoot them. I was being "creative" that day and decided to throw the dog instead. If i could take it back, I would. Either way, I did the dog a favor. Sorry if you can't understand that."

Tossing a dog over a cliff is not the correct way to go about killing unwanted animals. I believe that they should shoot the dogs in the head if it is really needed to kill these animals.

Yea, I've have a buddy who was over there tell me stories how they'd shoot dogs for fun from atop the hummers while on patrol. But then he also had his bunk mate killed in front of him. Two sides to the same coin.
