I'M OFFENDED!
Kinda, but not as much. Sedans are nutty fast and handle like nobodies business, but they can't go offroad. Offroad is FTW. Maybe sometime down the line when there is disposable monies.

I don't have nearly the reflexes or control to do onroad racing. I do want a sedan, but it would be a rally setup so I can at least take the thing through smooth dirt and stuff

I raced touring cars a couple winters ago when Airlake had a track...they're fun, but I'm not a big fan of on-road racing. On road racing is expensive, and the cars are fragile. To be even relatively competitive, it takes some dough.

I decided I'm done pumping money into modding out my car and needed a new car to start working on so I went out this weekend and picked up this.....

Yeah, there are a few of us here who are half-assed into various RC vehicles. I took the liberty of merging your thread with the old RC thread from the lounge, and moving it to the on-point section.

I actually tried searching for it too, but I think the forum's search function is broken.... every single search term (even "car") came up with zero hits. hmmm...

The Hobby Barn... it's down south of inver grove heights. I forget the town, but it's about the only RC track in the state, and the owner is pretty cool. He lets you drive on the track as long as you clean it up afterwards. They have organized racing every weekend.
